Oh, where do I even begin? Imagine, if you will, the most serious and authentic occult community in existence.
Now imagine it’s… a Discord server.
Yes, a Discord server.
Anonymous avatars, usernames like MoonPriestess420 and LordOfBlood69, clinging to their keyboards because their entire social life happens between a pinned post and a reaction button.
Their origins? A vampire forum, where self-proclaimed immortals trade tips on how to “feed,” with the kind of confidence only someone who watched The Vampire Diaries three times in a row can muster.
Then, picture this:
A newcomer wanders in: young, curious, still learning the art of discernment when stepping into occult circles. At first, she notices in there, synchronicities with her own path and the groups she is involved with in the real world, and recognizes the names of Gods she has honored for most of her life. She speaks in their public server with honest curiosity, offering thoughts in good faith. But gradually, the veil slipped, and she begun to see more clearly: the strange, ungrounded claims, the echo-chamber mantras repeated without question, the idolizing and fangirling disguised as devotion.
She quietly backs away over the years, realizing this fact on her own. Barely talking to these people (although they affirm to have had many private conversations with her for YEARS because they exchanged a couple of messages with her once or twice, go figure). Eventually she decides to leave their Facebook group because, shocker, the whole thing got uninteresting and repetitive.
Their reaction to this, is priceless. A testament of their true character that revealed itself plainly:
“How dare she write about ego in occultism, obviously it must be about us! She’s attacking us and our MASTERS!”
Because, of course, in their minds they are the only group she has ever engaged with, and every other circle she has been part of must be imaginary or a fraud. Naturally, every article she writes must revolve solely around them, as per their logic.
And then comes the gem: “She writes things behind her screen because she thought no one was listening.”
How amusing and naïve to say this while ignoring that her blog is public, linked on accounts that are also public, where she shares her real life and practice for anyone to see. Truth, it seems, is what truly stings those who hide behind nothing more than smoke and mirrors… who are too afraid to show themselves in the open.
And oh, how dare she not bow to our Discord Elders and the secret order that we worship in blind faith, she must act like us! How dare she have her own real-life tradition, with actual people she meets face-to-face, while they seethe behind anonymous icons? SHE MUST BE IMITATING US AND INVENTING IT ALL!
She trims her social media list, removing accounts she barely knows.
Cue the meltdown.
“How DARE she remove me?”
“She wrote a post on hubris in esoteric groups and suddenly it’s a calculated strike against us!”
Suddenly, these titans of ancient wisdom who boast about secret orders and vampiric power start showing their true faces behind the façade.
They slide into her DMs with all the gravitas of a middle school breakup:
“You owe me an explanation!”
I suppose the shoe fit and they slipped it on without a second thought, never realizing what that reveals about them. By reacting so loudly, they’ve admitted more than what was ever accused. A post about ego in occult circles was never aimed at them and written thinking about many different personas and group she met in her path, yet their outrage and defensiveness speak volumes. In rushing to take it personally, they’ve essentially announced to the world, “Yes, this is us,” exposing the very insecurities and fragility they were so desperate to deny.
Oh, the tragic comedy.
A group that claims to be so authentic and serious reduced to inventing lies about someone they barely know because… she hit the “remove friend” and “unfollow” button.
They whisper to each other in their pixelated coven:
“She’s badmouthing us in secret circles!”
No dear. She just writes her thoughts freely on her blog. She just removed herself in peace and your ego couldn’t handle that… so you had to spread lies about her without a reason.
They boast about having access to conversations from her private circles— the same circles they simultaneously insist she invented from thin air. Logic clearly isn’t their strong suit. And when pressed for proof of their wild accusations, that she claims to be a Goddess, or that she’s some grand liar and manipulator; they suddenly refuse to show anything. Oh, of course, it’s all to “protect her.” Sure. Who’s the real liar and manipulator here, lol.
And then, because irony has such a fine palate, they lash out with petty vengeance, banning her from a Discord server where she had scarcely spoken in ages. Bahaha. Then, they attempt to smear her name behind her back, spinning wild and creative claims about her based on nothing at all. They fabricate insults of what they assume to know of her exposing the truth of all they carry inside.
Why? Because she chose to walk away without a bow or a curtsy: an act so small, yet it visibly shattered their egos like glass…
A true cult would at least have matching robes.
This one? Just a dusty Discord full of bruised egos…
So to those self-proclaimed vampire-sorcerer-elders who’ve spent their time stalking my every post and every word looking for “evidence” of the lies you have invented about me:
Thanks for all the attention!
Because if someone leaving your little echo chamber—this so‑called “serious” occult community of yours—is enough to spark this level of theatrics, you’ve revealed exactly what you are: fragile, hollow, and laughably easy to provoke!
